The
ASC currently operates 7 senior teams (men and women) with over 150
Club members. The Club is affiliated with the Ontario Soccer Association
(OSA) and operates mens and women's teams in the York Region Soccer
League, a premier men's team in the Toronto & District League.
With a pedigree of championship soccer teams over the past 50 years,
the ASC continues to promote competitive and recreational soccer for
senior players in the Town of Aurora area. The best players are drawn
from Bradford, Newmarket, Markham and even Toronto to play for our
premier competitive team, The Hearts.
The Hearts are complemented by both competitive and recreational teams
that compete in the Newmarket & District Soccer League. For competitive
men, Aurora United compete in YRSL Premier Division,
and along with the U21 Hearts, support a feeder system to the Hearts.
For women, the Aurora Saints compete in the YRSL
Women Division One. |

The ASC also provides several oldtimers teams for those
who just can't hang up the boots, despite the better days passing
them by. The Aurora Celtic complete
in the YRSL Over 35 Division One, the Aurora Gunners
compete in the O35 Division Two, and the Aurora Rangers will compete in Division Three. We will continue to maintain both
Division One and Two teams in the Over 35 league to support a solid
base of men's oldtimer soccer.
The ASC also operates a recreational Over 50 team
that plays friendly games on a regular basis throughout the season.
In addition, a Sunday morning kickabout is operated for social members
and non-competitive (recreational) players. Contact
the Club if you are interested in finding out more about these
oldtime and recreational activities.
If you are not quite 50 but still would like a recreational kickabout, check out the Friday Night men's session run by Scott Sillcox. Contact info is available from the Friday Nights link above. |
